The Website Wrapper feature can be used to frame a website within the app or open it externally.
Edit Page
- Enter the URL into the Website Address field to view it in the Preview.
- Choose from one of the following ways to view the website from the drop-down:
- Framed within the app: The website appears framed inside the page. (Note: Tapping links may cause it to jump out to the phone's default web browser. Not all websites allow framing).
- In an external browser: The website opens in a pop-up window above the app (older phones will open it in the phone's default browser).
- With app header embedded on top: The website will appear full-screen with the Shareable Apps header embedded above. This advanced option requires editing your website's HTML.
Page Settings
Click the Settings tab to:
- Change the Page Name (in this example we changed it to 'Why Shareable Apps')
- Change the Page Icon that appears in the menu
- Choose whether the Page is active in the app and/or visible in the menu
- Delete the page
