Edit Page
- Add one person or many people to your app, complete with profile images, biographies, contact details, positions and more.
- Click 'Assign People to this Page' to open a list of existing people. Check or uncheck people from the pop-up list to add or remove them from your app.
- Click 'Edit People in the Dashboard' to exit to the People dashboard (see steps below).
People Dashboard
- In order to add people to your app, you first need to create them in the People dashboard. There you can add new people with details such as profile images, biographies, contact details, positions and more.
- To assign positions or departments to people, click on the Positions or Departments tabs to create them first.
- You can also link them to a location that you’ve already created in Places.
- After saving them, return to the App Designer to assign them to your app (using the steps above).
Page Settings
Click the Settings tab to:
- Change the Page Name (in this example we changed it to 'Our People')
- Change the Page Icon that appears in the menu
- Choose whether the Page is active in the app and/or visible in the menu
- Group people by first name, last name, department or position
- Change the collective noun for the footer button that appears in the list of people. The default is 'Everyone' but you can change this if you want to use the People page for content other than people.
- Cache images on the page*
- Delete the page
*Caching images allows them to appear faster on the page, and when the app is offline. Caching too many may slow the initial launch of the app - experiment to find the right balance.
